The Siamese is considered to be one of the oldest of the Oriental/Asian cat breeds, and it is believed that the origins of Siamese cats originated from Thailand, formally known as Siam. Known as Royal Points, or “The Royal Cats of Siam”, these cats were honored in such high regard that no one except the king and members of the royal family were permitted to own them.
Seeing these cats in person is definitely an experience as as they can have piercing blue eyes and elegant forms that can definitely make this breed a "royalty" kind of cats. While researching Siamese's origin, somehow Bird of Paradise came up as one ofthe native flowers of Thailand. While it is recently found out that the flowers didnt originate from Thailand, the flowers are kept as their sharp colors and designs complement the Siamese.
Artwork was design by watercolor and colored pencils, coated with gloss for vibrant colors and shine.
Size of the wood base averages around 3" to 4". Wood type can be either Basswood or Birchwood, and have Paw Print on its hanging string.
