- Commission Questions -
What is the typical wait time for a commission?
Wait times vary based on schedules and project complexity. Time-sensitive rush items are not recommended but it is possible depending on the commission's details, deadline and shipping information.
Can I check in on the progress of my commission?
Yes! Depending on your commission package, I submit initial drafts and thumbnails for your approval. You receive up to two free rounds of revisions during the early sketch stage to ensure everything is aligned before I move on to final inking and coloring. Any excessive check-ins outside standard milestones may incur fees.
Can I get a discount if I only want a sketch or lineart?
Unfinished sketches are not offered to maintain portfolio standards, but various budget tiers are available.
I want to commission something that isn't listed on your shop.
Do you accept custom requests?
Custom ideas are welcome via the [Contact Me] page.
Do you accept NSFW or mature commissions?
Tasteful softcore themes are evaluated case-by-case, but explicit content, non-con, and minor sexualization are strictly banned
What themes or subjects are you comfortable drawing?
I love bringing fantasy (D&D, Pathfinder, fairy tales), animals/anthro art, nature landscapes, spiritual concepts, and gothic/creepy themes to life!
Are there any themes you strictly refuse to draw?
To maintain a safe and professional workspace, I have a strict zero-tolerance policy for explicit genitalia, highly suggestive or fetishized content, or any sexualized depictions of characters who are minors or visually resemble children. I also require a consultation before accepting any heavy gore requests.
Can I use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes or merch?
Unless we have explicitly negotiated a commercial contract (such as for a children's book or business branding), all standard commissions are strictly for personal use. You are welcome to display it online with proper credit to Mad Artist Paradise LLC, but you may not profit off the design.
Do you take requests or art trades?
In general, no. If you are interested in a request or art trade, there are a couple of places you can check out. One place you can get requests or art trade would be ArtFight.net; it is a wonderful art trading event that happens every July. Please check them out for more information. The other place would be during my Art Stream on Twitch.tv/MadArtistParadise; where you can make a small donation for art request. I even have a Twitch Boss that you can fight with donations, likes and follow during stream, and beating it will reward you with a *free* illustration commission.
- Re-posting and Image Usage -
Can I re-post the artwork you made for me?
Yes, with proper credit (Mad Artist Paradise LLC) and a link back to my website or social accounts such as Instagram or Facebook.
Can I edit the artwork to fit my social media icon, banner, or profile decoration?
Cropping or resizing for personal avatars and banners is allowed, but you may NOT heavily alter or recolor the artwork.
Can I remove your name or watermark on the illustration if I credit you elsewhere?
No, watermarks and signatures must remain intact on all posted images. Removing it can invoke legal actions against you.
Can I use your art for NFTs, or commission you for AI/NFT projects?
No. NFT, cryptocurrency, and AI scraping projects are strictly prohibited and will be reported.
- Shipping and Orders -
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Standard items (stickers, keychains, prints, wood arts that's already done) typically ship within 1-3 business days. Custom wood-burning pieces or large illustrations require a longer processing time, which will be discussed during your consultation.
Do you offer tracking on shipments?
Yes, all standard store orders include a tracking number sent directly to your email once the shipping label is created.
What is your policy on returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of clearance, misprint, and custom items, all sales are final. However, if your order arrives damaged or experiencing a delay, please reach out via the [Contact Me] form with photos so I can make it right
