While coming up with ideas of penguin, I remember seeing how penguins are in a group and reading how much they care for their youngs so I thought 'why not a mama and baby penguin'. This illustration was painted with Dr. Ph. Martins India Ink and Drewent Watercolor with the concept of capturing the spirit of the Emperor Penguin and the Arctic itself in a simplistic way.
